Winter is a new piece I wrote with Garageband oddly enough during a hot summers day. It evokes a frozen landscape using sound sets like Chordal Chimes, String Cycles, Ice Blinks, Revelation Synth and Liverpool Bass. This sample will be included in my 8-bit chiptunes album.

Better Off Alone?
Better Than AI Are we better off alone or unfulfilled together. As comparison is the thief of joy, I would rather live a life of solitude and find peace within myself. Alone you can’t hurt anyone and they can’t hurt you. Some thoughts I struggle with everyday.
This sample is part of my 8-bit chiptunes album. I can see it used in a video game score while our adventurer traverses the wilderness. A forest scene comes to mind.

So Far
Better Than AI So Far was written for piano in 2024. I recently added guitar parts and found the quiet peaceful fireside sound works perfectly. It reminds me to rest when life takes us to places unknown, beautiful and terrifying.
Imagine yourself traveling so far. You stop to rest and make a fire. Sparks flying in the sky towards the stars as fireflies float across the water. Darkness surrounds you but the light protects you. You rest and surrender to the night and reflect.

Better Thank AI This song sample is the third entry in my 8-bit chiptunes album. It features a Granular Vibraphone and a Cosmic Ascent pad for the main melody giving it an otherworldly sound. I wrote this piece a few years ago for piano and thought that it works well in this particular format.

I wrote this song in May 2026. It is an anthem of acceptance that sometimes no matter how hard it is to admit they’re gone, goodbye is forever and that is ok.
